LINKS Smart Search is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered search using real Google results and Hebrew voice readout. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

LINKS Smart Search does not collect any personally identifiable information. All data — search history, favorites, and settings — is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to our servers.

How We Use Your Data

• Search queries are sent to Google Search (Serper) and Anthropic Claude API solely to generate search results and AI analysis.
• Voice readout is processed via Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the extension's functionality.

Permissions

LINKS Smart Search uses the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

• storage – To save search history, favorites, and settings locally on your device.
• tabs – To open the search page and navigate to search results in the active tab.
• host permissions (api.anthropic.com) – To send search queries to the LINKS AI engine for analysis.
• host permissions (google.serper.dev) – To retrieve real Google search results.
• host permissions (texttospeech.googleapis.com) – To enable Hebrew voice readout of search answers.

Cookies and Tracking

The extension does not use cookies and does not track your activity. There are no advertisements and no data sharing with external parties.
